I'm Steve Dixon, the Vicar of Holy Saviour's.
I have always had the blessing of knowing God in my life, being brought up in a Christian home. My personal commitment to Jesus came in my early teens and God has taken me on a journey of adventure ever since.
My ministry began when I was in my late teens as a church youth leader. In 2003, after training in Sheffield, I was commissioned as an Evangelist in the Church Army, serving in Byker and Willington Quay. I was ordained in 2015 after training locally and came to Tynemouth in 2018.
After growing up in Lancashire and Yorkshire, I moved to the North East in 2003. Before my time in ministry I had various jobs as a TV broadcast engineer, cabinet maker, shop fitter, and development engineer/manager in a CCTV manufacturing company.
I am married to Clare and we have two adult children. My hobbies include vintage aircraft restoration and classic car restoration.

I'm Emily Emmerson-Finch, Curate at Holy Saviour's.
I've been a Christian most of my life, although my faith really 'came to life' for me in my teenage years. Since leaving school I have spent my life working alongside young people in lots of different contexts, exploring faith and how our relationship with a God who loves us can impact our day-to-day lives.
I have recently become ordained, and I am so excited to serve my curacy here at Holy Saviours in Tynemouth!
I'm originally from Yorkshire and made the move up to the North East 6 years ago, and I absolutely love it up here! I am married to Luke, and we have one child. You can usually find me in a coffee shop, on the beach or eating too much chocolate.
