We are delighted that you are considering holding your wedding or blessing at Holy Saviour's Church. Holding a wedding in church adds a spiritual dimension to the marriage ceremony which couples often find a great help and encouragement as they begin married life together. Our church and grounds also provide a beautiful setting for your church wedding or blessing.

Many people are unaware that they have a right to be married in their Parish Church or in a church where they have a qualifying connection. If you are planning to hold your wedding at Holy Saviour's we suggest that you get in touch with the church office as early as possible to discuss your date and eligibility. Please note, we don't have clergy available to take weddings on Fridays.

As you begin to think about marrying in church, we recommend that you visit Your Church Wedding, part of the Church of England website. This will answer many of your initial questions and offer some guidance in the planning stages.

A Wedding Blessing ceremony can be done at anytime after a civil or church marriage. Often couples choose to have their marriage blessed or renew their vows in church on a special anniversary. Compared to a church wedding, there are few legal requirements for holding a blessing service in church.
