NEWS & EVENTS

Church is open to the public every day, 9am to 4pm. Worship is on Sundays at 10am and 6pm, and Wednesdays at 10am. Services are also being livestreamed at 10am on our YouTube channel each Sunday.

Voices of Faith are holding a seminar entitled Women in Worship: Then and Now at 1:30pm on Tue 30 April in the Parish Centre. All welcome.


World Labyrinth Day: Sat 4 May 12.30 - 2.00pm Northumberland Park, North Shields. Please come along and join the prayers during this moving meditation for World Peace.


Our Ascension Day Service will take place on Thu 9 May and we welcome Colle Voce to lead this choral worship.


Christian Aid week will run 12-18 May and envelopes for donations will be placed in the pews. There will be a coffee morning from 10am on Sat 11 May at Christ Church N Shields and an evening service on Sun 12 May.

The Knitting and Art Group: meet at 10am in the Parish Centre. Their next meetings: 13 May, 3 and 17 June. All welcome no experience needed, help always available.


Christian Meditation sessions continue every Tuesday 7-8pm a St Cuthbert’s RC Church, North Shields.

We will be saying farewell to our Curate Rosemary New this Sunday. Please join us at tea and coffee after the service as we wish her well for the future.

Our Friday Parent and Toddler Group are looking for people who can help them during the sessions with setting up and assisting with refreshments. We are also setting up a small working party to help them clean the under-stage
storage area on the morning of Sat 18 May. If you can help with either of these, please speak to Steve Dixon.

We are looking for anyone who would like to join our Servers rota to assist at the altar. Please speak to Steve, Janice or Ruth if you are interested.
